About me

Hi I’m Sarah !

I’m passionate about helping brilliant business owners like you to get unstuck, stop holding yourself back and standing in your own way.

I’m a positive thinker with a love of positive psychology, which I use as much as possible in my coaching sessions.

I love helping my clients to overcome whatever is blocking them, to feel calmer, more content, more confident and more in control.

My coaching style is warm, curious, calm, supportive and friendly.

I don’t tell you what to do or even what I think you should do.

I support and empower you by asking you the right questions to help you think differently and plan out your next steps so that you can start taking positive action and keep moving forwards.

I help you to be more of your brilliant self and do more of what you want to do in your life and business.

I’m your biggest cheerleader, I’ll be right there alongside you, keeping you motivated and inspired and holding you accountable to keep you on track to reach your goals.

My mission is to help you flourish!   To support and empower you to manage your mindset and stop standing in your own way.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients success.   I want to help you be more, do more and have more of what you want in your life and business.

“If you’re looking for a mindset shift, someone to support you during a specific project, or someone to be a productive and helpful soundboard for you – Sarah is perfect!”

My Coaching Journey

My coaching journey started when I was a teenager, I just didn’t know it then !  As a teenager I was fascinated with psychology and how our minds work, my dream was to have a career using psychology to help other people.

So I went out and got my psychology degree, but after graduating instead of going on to study more, I took the first half decent job to pay my rent and bills.   One job led to another and years later, I found myself in the corporate world working in quality, audit and compliance, wondering how on earth I’d got there!

When I finally quit my corporate job and set up my first business, I thought that using my previous expertise in GDPR and Data Protection to help others would be great.

I knew working for myself wouldn’t be easy, but I had no idea just how much my own thinking would trip me up and hold me back. I found myself full of self-doubt and talking myself out of doing the things that I needed to do to grow the business.

So I went back to my love of psychology and started reading and researching everything I could and that’s how I discovered coaching.

The more I read about coaching, the more I wanted to learn.   I enrolled on not one but two different coach training programs and knew that I had found my thing – that thing that lights me up and fills me with joy.

That teenage dream of using my love of psychology to help other people has finally become a reality!

I couldn’t possibly love coaching more if I tried.   It is by far the most deeply rewarding, joy-provoking thing I have ever done in my working life.  I love being able to support my clients to be more of their brilliant selves.

PS

I still offer GDPR support in addition to coaching.   If you would love to learn more about your data protection responsibilities as a business owner and how I can support you, you can find out more by visiting my website.    Cicking on the link below will take you a new website.

My Favourite things

When I’m not coaching you’ll find me reading, listening to podcasts, upcycling furniture, pottering in the garden, enjoying the sunshine or spending time with family and friends.

I love to laugh.  I’m a tea drinking, chocolate eating ,shabby-chic enthusiast with a love of ice cream.  Sunsets (and sunrises) never cease to amaze me.   I’m at my happiest when the sun is shining and I’m a firm believer that life is better in flip flops!

My Values

Values come up a lot in coaching.  They are at the heart of everything we do, how we behave and live our life – they are what makes us tick!

Usually these values are at a subconscious level and unless we have done some work and taken the time to define them, we’re probably not fully conscious of them.  When our values are being met, we feel fulfilled and satisfied and as though all is right in our world. When our values are not being met, we may experience disquiet, conflict and dissatisfaction.

Knowing our values means that we can identify when there is a mismatch between what really matters to us and our current reality. And that means we can then decide on what we need to do to honour our values and feel more fulfilled.

Here are some of my key values.

Warmth

Joy

Curiousity

Authenticity

Creativity

Some of the lovely things my clients say about me

You were supportive, kind and non-judgemental. You shared your thoughts at just the right moments and never interrupted. I felt totally comfortable to share and reflect, even when I thought it might sound silly.

I loved that you approached the session in a really thorough and thoughtful manner. You gave me the right amount of time and space for me to almost come to the answers myself. But I know it was your questioning and insights that almost pushed me in the right direction.

Sarah did an amazing job of asking the perfect questions to get me to adjust my perspective – which is exactly what I needed!
